DIRECTIONS FROM THE NORTH (M6)  -  15 minutes from M6 j36

Exit M6 at junction 36 and turn left.
After 100m turn left again at roundabout on to A65.
After 1/2 mile turn left opposite Croooklands hotel on to B6385.
Follow for 3 miles to traffic lights and crossroads in centre of Milnthorpe.
Turn left at these lights and follow for 1 mile heading south on A6.
Turn right 100m after Beetham Nursery.
Follow this narrow road for 3/4 mile up a long winding hill, turning right at the fork at the top of the hill.
Take the second right turn in to Leighton Drive.
After 150m turn left in to Leighton Close.
Buckthorn Cottage is the last house on the right in the corner of the cul-de-sac.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH (M6)  -  12 minutes from M6 j35

Exit M6 at junction 35 and turn left on to dual carriageway.
Follow for 3/4 mile to roundabout and turn right on to A6 heading north.
After 1/2 mile turn left at next roundabout (straight on, effectively) to remain on A6 north.
Follow for 3 miles and turn left in to Beetham as main road turns to the right on a bend. (ignore first small turning by tiny primary school)
Follow this narrow road for 3/4 mile up a long winding hill, turning right at the fork at the top of the hill.
Take the second right turn in to Leighton Drive.
After 150m turn left in to Leighton Close.
Buckthorn Cottage is the last house on the right in the corner of the cul-de-sac.
